Went for an early evening cocktail then ordered dinner. The drinks are were yummy and strong. Ordered a bahama mama with a rum floater and a gangsta margarita. The food was delicious and hot. We had fish tacos with onion rings and fried mahi with fries. Atmosphere was fun and great music. Our server, Roberto was friendly and attentive in spite of being maybe 1 of 2 servers for many tables. Recommended 100%.

Great DJ; played a little bit of everything. The service was great and the food was tasty! We had small children ages 2 to 8 and they danced all night.

I love Gilbert's Tiki Bar. We found it by exploring the area. A giant Tiki Hut right by the water with a small private sandy beach with people swimming, jet skiing, boating, and paddleboarding. Not to mention beautiful birds flying around and some landing on the beach and gibing us a show! And a pier to go walk on. Just a great setting. Then there is their delicious food! We had the Yellowtail Snapper and a Mahi Basket. Both were very good! My daughter had a Coconut Mojito to relax by. Our server was Christian, who was friendly and attentive. We love this relaxing, beautiful, off the highway Tiki restaurant and look forward to our next visit. Oh yeah, and they are dog friendly as long as your dog is on a leash and behaves.

We showed up on a Sunday afternoon. We had a sailboat and had to park around the cove to the southwest. It’s very shallow so we had to go out past the second mark and come back around to anchor. Despite it being VERY busy and 1A at a standstill, we were able to park our dinghy and we found a table. It is bar rules for tables. The beach section closes at 430 PM on Sunday for food. There was live music which was great but very loud but enjoyable. Our server was fast to help but bc they were so busy there were no menus which we were totally cool with bc they have it online. We sat at a dirty table and the server was on it quickly and got everything ready for us. The drinks came fast and the food quickly followed. Our service was excellent. We also ordered food to go for grandpa still on the boat which she place the order at the perfect time. Our kids played on the nice swim beach and had fun while we enjoyed the evening. Peel shrimp was good Oysters were good Lobster wrap good Cod tenders good Cheeseburger good Fish tacos good Frozen beverages even Virgin were good. We saw many dolphins and even witnessed a Ray jump out the water. Good experience

This restaurant, located inside Gilbert Hotel and right by the water, is an absolute hidden gem. The views are stunning, especially at sunset—it’s the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery with a great meal. What really surprised me were the prices—for such a prime location and quality of food, they are incredibly reasonable. The highlight of my meal was the fried snapper, which was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. Every bite was a delight. The place has a casual and laid-back vibe, making it ideal for an easygoing meal with a view. Whether you’re staying at Gilbert Hotel or just looking for a great waterfront dining spot, this place is definitely worth a visit. Great food, amazing views, and fantastic value—what more could you ask for??

Great escape from the city within an 1 hour drive. It has the keys feel and it’s like being on vacation immediately. The food is fresh, mostly deep fried seafood and bar food. When you are from Spain you are not used to see all the seafood showing up in the looking the same and all on one plate but once you got used to the batter & deep fried culture you actually enjoy it. We had the lobster bites ( battered and deep fried of course) and the seafood platter with onion rings ( battered and deep fried). There was something on the platter that would normally identify itself as a bread croqueta that flew by some seafood ( I think it was meant to be a conch fritters).Don’t get me wrong, everything was delicious ( I love bread) and there were plenty of sauces to dip the yummy fried goods. The atmosphere was relaxed and the crowd was an interesting mix of bikers and boaters. Our waiter was extremely attractive and super sweet. He made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Like many places in Miami they add the 20% gratuity to the check automatically, so if you are not used to that just be on the lookout so you don’t double tip after all these frozen drinks your vision might get blurry. All in all. The place is great if you are looking for a typical keys experience on the water with yummy bar food.
